Eric Seo will be responsible for product development for the company's membrane filtration technology

Water Planet, a global supplier of membrane-based water treatment solutions, announced that Eric Seo joined the company as product development engineer.

Seo will focus on product development for the company’s PolyCera membrane filtration technology, which offers ceramic-like performance with polymer economics.

“We are pleased to welcome Eric to the growing Water Planet team. Our recent Series B financing enables us to achieve several objectives, one of which it to commercialize the PolyCera membrane technology, which we believe will create a new paradigm in the industry. Eric will play an important role in developing the product,” said Eric Hoek, CEO of Water Planet.

Prior to joining the company, Seo worked as environmental engineer for Smith and Emery Environmental and Geo-Service. He was also an associate engineer for Water Quality and Treatment Solutions.

Seo obtained his Master of Science degree in civil and environmental engineering from UCLA in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering from University of California Riverside in 2011.
