Bluewater to Exhibit Water Purifier at IFA Berlin 2015

Aug. 31, 2015
The show will be held Sept. 4 to 9, 2015

Bluewater will use Europe’s IFA Berlin 2015 consumer tech show, running Sept. 4 to 9, to exhibit its new Spirit water purifier, which harnesses second-generation reverse osmosis to turn tap water into healthier drinking water.

“Bluewater’s fully functional, patented SuperiorOsmosis technology takes reverse osmosis water purification to the next level, enabling users to purify tap water faster of practically all known potentially harmful contaminants, when they want it and substantially reduce water wastage,” said Bluewater Managing Director Niclas Wullt.

By removing practically all known contaminants from drinking water, including lead, germs and pharmaceuticals, the unit addresses the rapidly growing problem of worsening residential water quality. Existing water delivery and treatment systems around the globe, in developed and developing nations alike, are under threat from fast growing urban populations and decaying infrastructure.

In the U.S., as much as 30% of pipes in systems that deliver water to more than 100,000 people are between 40 to 80 years old, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. About 10% are even older.

Bluewater’s Spirit water purifier offers technology housed in a stylish and ergonomic body. Delivering 3 liters of direct flow water per minute, the Bluewater Spirit’s compact size ensures easy installation under a kitchen sink unit to provide easy filter change and maintenance access.
