NanoH2O Changes Name to LG NanoH2O

The company was acquired by LG Chem Ltd. on April 30, 2014

LG NanoH2O Inc., manufacturer of reverse osmosis (RO) membranes for seawater desalination, has completed the legal filing to officially change its operating name from “NanoH2O” to “LG NanoH2O.” The filing follows the recent acquisition of the company by Korean chemical giant LG Chem Ltd. Founded in 2005, “NanoH2O” introduced the industry’s first thin-film nanocomposite RO membrane. The company’s sale was finalized April 30, 2014.

“This is the beginning of yet another chapter,” said LG NanoH2O President Chul Nam. “The synergy of the NanoH2O and LG brands is going to propel us to become the market leader in RO membrane technology. Customers will see a surge in commercial growth and product development from LG NanoH2O, along with enhanced customer and technical support from our growing network of offices, representatives and distributors.”

In addition, LG NanoH2O debuts a new corporate logo and its website can now be found at www.lg-nanoh2o.com.
