June 11, 2014
The forum will run through June 12

The 12th Annual Latin American Leadership Forum, held in Cartagena, Colombia kicked off June 10 and will run through June 12. Hosted by CG/LA Infrastructure Inc., the forum is an infrastructure marketplace focusing on strategic project opportunities, particularly the creation of growth, long-term competitiveness and opportunity through the design and construction of great infrastructure.

Registered participants of the event have access to the CG/LA Private Meetings system, which allows registrants to schedule up to 10 one-on-one, 15-minute meetings with forum partners, project presenters and other participants. Private meetings will be held June 11, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The World Economic Forum hosted a special breakfast on Wednesday, June 11, at 7:30 a.m., spotlighting the forum’s recently released report, “Accelerating Infrastructure Delivery: New Evidence from International Finance Institutions.”

The event also hosts and presents the Strategic 100 Latin America (LA). The Strategic 100 LA is the cornerstone on which the 12th Latin American Infrastructure Leadership Forum is built. Fifteen projects are featured from Colombia (second only to Brazil in the number of projects on the Strategic 100 LA list), generating $16.8 billion in investment, and creating as many as 136,000 direct and indirect jobs. The Strategic Top 100 is designed to assist public and private sector leaders from throughout Latin America in identifying and rapidly building strategic infrastructure, within countries and across countries.
