Story will provide opening remarks at the beginning of the event, and also introduce a panel discussion titled “The Evolving Role of the Federal Government from the Top,” featuring Senators Michael Bennet (D-CO) and Roy Blunt (R-MO), lead sponsors of the Partnership to Build America Act.

Strauss will participate in a panel hosted by the Value of Water Coalition titled, “From Invisible to Invaluable: Changing the Way We Think About Water Infrastructure” at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EDT. Panel participants will discuss the current condition of water infrastructure in the United States, the consequences of letting these failing systems worsen and solutions to meeting the water challenges of today and tomorrow. The panel will be webcast and also feature a live Twitter conversation.

Taking place May 12 to 16, Infrastructure Week 2014 will explore emerging solutions, innovative approaches and best practices being developed nationwide to modernize aging infrastructure.
