The company plans to open additional offices in 2014

Reterro Inc. has doubled the size of its corporate headquarters as part of a 2014 expansion plan that includes the opening of several additional offices.

Reterro's Silicon Valley facilities in Pleasanton and Livermore, Calif., now total 26,000 sq ft. The company said it planned to open its first expansion office in the first half of 2014, with several additional offices to be announced shortly thereafter. Reterro has not yet announced the locations of any additional offices, though the company said that the next two or three offices will be in the U.S.

"Reterro launched its enterprise-class commercialization phase late in 2013, and our growth has been extremely rapid," said Reterro CEO Ferdinand Seemann. "We expect the escalation of our business to require a presence in multiple metropolitan areas in the United States. This expansion is especially important as we provide our customers unrivaled efficiency, safety and 100% environmental certainty in the clean-up of a significant number of sites. Many such sites have been contaminated and thus rendered unusable for years. It is gratifying to have such a critical role in enabling these sites to fulfill their true potential for our customers and their surrounding communities."

Seemann noted that demand for Reterro solutions is particularly high among enterprise companies in the oil and hazardous waste industry, as well as among large infrastructure owners and municipalities. Though he did not announce plans to open facilities outside the U.S., Seemann cited increasing demand for Reterro's services in numerous international markets.
