The company's flow metering technology is now available to the region’s industrial, oil and gas facilities

Primary Flow Signal (PFS) and its sister company Turbines Inc. announced the appointment of Maser Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as the company’s authorized distributor for Malaysia and the Far East region.

The Malaysian oil and gas industry has a current production rate of approximately 730,000 barrels of crude oil per day, with a goal of becoming the top oil and gas producer by 2017. Ensuring the area’s growth requires new technologies that meet global standards for accurate, verifiable measurement.

Maser is a technology distributor in the Malaysian oil and gas, power generation, water and services industries. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, their field and customer service personnel have direct knowledge of the local industries and can identify the appropriate technology for each customer’s specific needs. They will also provide distribution, sales and product support for not only Malaysia, but also Vietnam and Thailand to further develop the growing application requirements for PFS and Turbines Inc. products.

“Maser is a great addition to our distribution network,” said Bruce Briggs, president and CEO of Primary Flow Signal and Turbines Inc. “With more than 30 years of experience, Maser has proven to share and maintain the same strict standards to which we hold ourselves—to provide reliable differential and turbine metering solutions, as well as outstanding customer support.”
