RJN Group Names New Principal

Michael Young will be the principal-in-charge of Central U.S. Operations

Michael N. Young, P.E., branch manager of RJN Group Inc.’s Wheaton, Ill., office, has been named a new RJN Principal. Young will now be the principal-in-charge of RJN’s Central U.S. Operations.

Young joined RJN in 2007 as branch manager. Since joining RJN, he has acted as project director or project manager on several collection system programs and water/wastewater design projects. The design projects have included sanitary sewers, lift stations, force mains, wastewater treatment, storm sewers, water treatment and water mains.

The collection system studies have focused on one or more of the following:

  • Inflow/Infiltration (I/I) removal
  • Sewer system rehabilitation/replacement
  • Private sector flow reduction programs
  • Flow monitoring
  • Hydraulic modeling and analysis

Young has over 18 years of experience in the engineering field.  He is a registered professional engineer in both Illinois and Iowa. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois.
