The Passavant-Geiger Group will continue its international growth under the new name "Bilfinger Water Technologies.” The company also acquired Johnson Screens at the beginning of 2013.
With the successful renaming of all subsidiaries concluded March 1, 2013, the new group of companies, Bilfinger Water Technologies, demonstrated its development into a leading supplier of components and services in nearly all areas of water and wastewater technology. Bilfinger Water Technologies, with its headquarters in Aarbergen, is part of the Bilfinger Facility Services Subgroup of Bilfinger SE. The company is adopting the redesigned Bilfinger Group logo in line with the group's uniform market presence.
"Our new logo and our visual presence is the most externally visible sign of the new chapter in our company history; however, we associate much more with it,” says Joachim Foerderer, chairman of the executive management at Bilfinger Passavant Water Technologies GmbH.
As a new global player with approximately 1,750 employees at 31 locations in 17 countries and an annual output volume of approximately €300 million, the group of companies has become significantly more productive. With locations on every continent, a significantly wider range of products and the opportunity to provide more extensive consultation, customer needs can be met more sustainably and project-related tasks more efficiently resolved
The sales organization in the company is undergoing systematic restructuring in order to supply clients from local governments and the industrial sector throughout the world with products that target their needs more efficiently in the future. By opening up new customer groups and gaining much greater access to key growth markets worldwide, many opportunities have surfaced for marketing the company's own traditional brands Passavant, Johnson Screens, Geiger, Airvac, Diemme, Roediger, Noggerath and Screenex.
The group is also repositioning itself in the production area to be able to optimally utilize the coupling of areas of expertise, purchasing advantages and synergies for the benefit of the customers. This will allow the Bilfinger Water Technologies Group to strengthen its competitive position and to put together an attractive service package for its customers in every respect.
The combination of the strengths of a successful traditional company on the one hand and the advantages of a modern global player on the other provides the group of companies new opportunities to win customers with the expertise of its employees in solving project-related tasks.
