Water Sector Strategist to Deliver Keynote Address at WERF Research Forum
The Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) announced that the keynote speaker for the 8th Annual Research Forum will be water sector strategist, Ken Rubin, Ph.D. Dr. Rubin will be speaking at the Chicago Hilton on the morning of Jan. 29, 2013 in Chicago. The 8th Annual WERF Research Forum is being held immediately preceding the Water Environment Federation’s (WEF) midyear meeting, which begins Jan. 31, also in Chicago. Leading water quality professionals worldwide will be in attendance for both events.
Over his career, Dr. Rubin has capitalized, launched, managed and sold his own infrastructure consulting firm, bought and sold other businesses, managed and sold one of two key business units of a publicly traded consulting firm and developed several successful new international management consulting ventures.
Dr. Rubin will attend the WERF Research Forum just as his work with the National Assn. of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) on “The Utility of the Future” will be wrapping up.
“Forum attendees can look forward to hearing Dr. Rubin speak on the research-related aspects of this strategic initiative—The Utility of the Future,” said Carrie W. Capuco, WERF director of communications. “We are lucky to have Dr. Rubin join us at the forum to share the latest developments in the collaborative effort among multiple organizations to look into the future of the water quality industry.”
