Edmund G. “Ed” Archuleta, P.E., president and CEO of El Paso Water Utilities, has announced plans to retire in 2013 after more than four decades in the water industry. Archuleta has led the utility for nearly 23 years since 1989.
“Mr. Archuleta’s innovation, expertise, and leadership have made EPWU one of the most progressive water utilities in the country,” said Ed Escudero, chairman of the seven-member Public Service Board that oversees the utility. “He has guided this utility with a steady hand, both securing El Paso’s water resources and seeking forward-looking and sustainable solutions.”
