Aquatech Amsterdam Promises Cutting-Edge Exhibitions During Four-Day Event

Sept. 19, 2011

Top technologies from more than 40 different countries will be featured at the trade exhibition in November

This November, water professionals from all over the world will gather for Aquatech Amsterdam 2011, a trade exhibition for the global water industry. The four-day event in the Netherlands features myriad presentations, workshops, and networking and entertainment opportunities for attendees, including a two-day workshop on Europe’s new Water Framework Directive. Taking effect in 2015, the directive will manipulate costs for agricultural businesses, industrial water users and water management agencies throughout the continent.

In addition to the workshop, attendees can look forward to top technology presentations featuring products from more than 40 different countries, the International Aquatech Innovation Award ceremony, a pipefitting championship and much more.

Coinciding with the trade show is International Water Week Amsterdam, a comprehensive water event targeting industrial water users. Guests are invited to attend Aquaterra, a conference on water management in low-lying, densely populated deltas; the International Water Week Conference; and excursions to water treatment installations. Recreational public events hosted near Amsterdam’s 17th century canals cap off the event, allowing attendees to explore the host city.
