Des Moines Water Works Selects Woolpert for Five-Year Contract

Woolpert awarded a $2.5 million contract to develop an asset management system for the water utility company

Woolpert announced it was recently selected by Des Moines Water Works (DMWW) in Iowa for a five-year, $2.5 million contract to develop an asset management system for the water utility company.

Woolpert will assist DMWW establish best management practices, implement the Infor Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and integrate the EAM with key business support systems. Implementation of this system will help reengineer and transform DMWW’s business processes and information systems to increase efficiencies for its staff and customers.

“With our vast experience implementing asset management systems, Woolpert is looking forward to this opportunity to partner with DMWW and bring additional value to an already well-established operation,” Woolpert Senior Vice President and Director Scott Cattran said.

Woolpert’s multi-phased approach will include planning, data conversion, system configuration, testing, application development, systems integration and training.
