Pure Hydration will launch the Thirst Aid bag at the Emergency Services Show 2007. This new portable water purifier is designed for emergency use.
The bag, which is about the same size as a hot water bottle, can turn contaminated water into fresh, clean drinking water. The filter kills viruses and bacteria, as well as removes pathogens such as cryptosporidium and giardia. The Thirst Aid Bag also removes dirt, sediment, chemicals, bad tastes and odors.
The product is simple to use and does not use any moving parts—such as pumps—to create the filtered water. This enhances its reliability. Small and easily stored, the bag is made from Pure Hydration's unique armor-weave material, which makes it particularly durable and tear resistant.
The filter purifies approximately 92 gal of water, and has been endorsed by the Environmental Protection Agency and National Sanitation Foundation.
The Thirst Aid bag launches at the Emergency Services Show 2007 at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, U.K., on November 28 to 29. See Pure Hydration at stand 76.
