John Arvay has been appointed National Accounts Manager for NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF). As National Accounts Manager, Arvay will lead the sales efforts of NSF’s Management System Registrations, while developing and executing new sales and marketing initiatives in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Working closely with the international sales and business development manager, he will be responsible for assisting Fortune 500 clients in the automotive, aerospace and industrial sectors with all of their registration needs.
Arvay has more than 15 years of experience in management and sales, including six years in the quality industry. Before joining NSF, Arvay served as the executive director of a global quality management systems certification company. He was responsible for sales and marketing activities and performing quality and business consulting for automotive manufacturers. He also served as an independent business consultant and was vice president and chief financial officer of a mid-sized metal stamping manufacturing company in the building supplies and automotive original equipment manufacturer industry.
Arvay holds professional certifications from the American Society of Quality, which include Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Quality Process Analyst and from ANAB, which include Certified ISO 9000 QMS Provisional Auditor. He holds a doctorate degree in law from the University of Toledo and a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting and public administration. He is also a United States Navy veteran.
