HDR Professionals to Present at Annual Membrane Conference

Three executives will present at the American Membrane Technology conference in Miami Beach

Roger Noack, Mark Graves and Mario Benisch of HDR’s Water business group are scheduled to give presentations at the July 18-21 American Membrane Technology Association’s annual conference in Miami Beach.

The conference is geared toward water professionals involved in the operation, engineering and design, and manufacturing of membrane facilities, as well as representatives from utilities around the country who are currently using or are interested in employing a membrane solution.

Graves is a project manager in HDR’s Austin office. His presentation, "Ceramic membranes with direct filtration vs. polymeric membranes with settling or MIEX pretreatment,” is part of the fouling and scaling session.

Noack is HDR’s East Region Desalination Technology lead in the Tampa office and will serve as moderator of the research and student forum session.

Mario Benisch, a project engineer in HDR’s Portland office, will be presenting two posters: "Testing the limits of biological phosphorus removal in a membrane bioreactor" and "Improving tertiary membrane filtration low level phosphorus removal with chemical sludge aging."
