Black and Veatch Hosting Water Leaders at Singapore Intl. Water Week
More than 100 high-level water leaders are participating at a joint Black & Veatch and Singapore Intl. Water Week (SIWW) event at this year’s Water Leaders Summit. The dynamic, interactive workshop, open to summit delegates, will focus on managing future challenges related to changing urban environments.
Themed “Water Pressures: How to Adapt and Lead in a Changing Urban Environment,” the workshop adopts a different approach from traditional seminars. Each water leader will have the opportunity to contribute to three short roundtable discussions of best practices for dealing with today’s and tomorrow’s universal challenges in a changing urban environment.
The three topics will be innovation pressures, policy pressures and public pressures, and they each offer leaders an opportunity to share lessons and present ideas with a fresh approach. The workshop is part of Black & Veatch’s award-winning series and will take place on July 6.
More than 20 roundtable discussions will take place, chaired by some of the world’s leading minds in the water business. It will encourage a rapid-fire sharing of insights and best practices. The detailed findings will be used to form a white paper that will articulate the sectors most current and pressing challenges and will be made available to the public later this year.
