Company donates $35,000 in cash and products to support water projects in Latin America and Africa

In 2010 Hach passed a significant financial milestone, and to celebrate, the Loveland-based company offered each employee his or her choice of a commemorative gift, or they could donate the value of the gift to Water For People. About 200 employees chose the donation option, resulting in Hach President Lance Reisman presenting a $5,000 donation to Jodi Lundin, senior manager, strategic alliances, Water for People. Hach has agreed to donate an additional $30,000 worth of products, for a total of $35,000 worth of donations, to support Water For People’s sustainable clean water and sanitation project in Honduras and a country in Africa.

“As a water quality analysis company, bringing clean water to people around the world is fundamental to Hach’s purpose,” Reisman said. “We’re proud of our employees, but not at all surprised by their generosity and support for Water For People.”

“Hach is a longstanding partner with our cause to empower countries to build and maintain reliable, safe water systems,” Lundin said. “In the past couple of years, Hach has donated $30,000 worth of products as well as local training to support projects in Bolivia and Rwanda. The Hach products are easy for the locals to use so they’re a perfect fit for our sustainability goals.”
