Aquatech Awarded Wastewater Recycling Project for Mumbai Airport

Aquatech has been awarded a complete turnkey EPC contract for a 10,000-cu-meter-per-day waste and sewage treatment and recycle project for the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India. To meet the demands of a rapid growth in international flight operations and passenger traffic, a new terminal building, the Common User Terminal, is being planned as part of the expansion and modernization of the airport facility. In view of the scarcity of fresh water and to cater to the requirements of the expanding airport facilities, Aquatech’s wastewater recycling system will treat raw sewage for recycling and reuse. Aquatech also will operate and maintain the facility.
