At the January meeting of the St. Louis Local Emergency Planning Commission (LEPC), Terry Tecklenburg, environmental engineer for RJN Group Inc., was voted onto the LEPC Executive Board.
Tecklenburg is qualified for this role with 20 years of plant environmental engineering experience, training as a lead incident commander and 10-hour OSHA training. He is also a certified hazardous materials manager.
Tecklenburg has been with RJN for two years in its St. Louis office. He has experience working on carbon footprinting; spill prevention, control and countermeasure plans; air emission reports; environmental compliance evaluations; and sanitary sewer evaluation studies.
The St. Louis LEPC committee promotes safety in the community through hazardous materials awareness, supporting planning efforts, encouraging cooperative partnerships between the community and industry and developing and sponsoring educational and training programs related to hazardous materials and situations for St. Louis emergency responders, industry and the community.
