Acquisition will enhance company’s water and wastewater services

Hatch Mott MacDonald (HMM) announced that Richard P. Arber Associates, an award-winning professional consulting engineering firm located in Lakewood, Colo., joined the Hatch Mott MacDonald organization. Arber Associates’ practice is focused on water, wastewater and water reuse engineering services. The firm has completed a number of high-technology, state-of-the-art projects for clients in the western U.S.

“Richard P. Arber Associates fills an important strategic role in Hatch Mott MacDonald’s future growth plans” said Nicholas DeNichilo, president and CEO of Hatch Mott MacDonald. “Arber will provide a further gateway by which HMM intends to expand its water and wastewater practice to the western U.S. The firm’s track record of providing quality infrastructure services to national park facilities throughout the West also complements our current initiative to expand market share among federal clients.”

“We are excited by the possibilities that will come with being part of the Hatch Mott MacDonald organization. The infrastructure needs in Colorado and the west are significant, and HMM will enable us to offer a much wider range of services to our clients, helping to fill those needs,” said Rick Arber, founder and principal owner of Richard P. Arber Associates. “Beyond geographical considerations, I believe that the technical strengths of our two organizations are complementary, and will bolster the technical services provided by the organization as a whole.”
