Parsons Awarded Contract for Sewer Project in Qatar

Project will extend sewer service in coastal city

Parsons announced that the Public Works Authority of Qatar (ASHGHAL) selected Parsons to provide consultancy services for the Al Khor Area Sewerage for Northern Region–Package 2 project involving construction of 40.3 miles of new sewer lines and house connections to extend the sewerage network in the Al Khor northern region, which is located about 50 miles north of Qatar’s capital, Doha. Al Khor is a coastal city with a population of nearly 30,000. ASHGHAL is the infrastructure provider for the state of Qatar.

We have worked in the Gulf since the 1950s to provide the public and commercial infrastructure necessary for sustainable growth in the region,” said Jeffrey F.
