Company announces acquisition at WEFTEC

Pulsafeeder announced the acquisition of PeriFlo, a provider of peristaltic pumps for the industrial and municipal water and wastewater markets. PeriFlo offers a family of peristaltic hose pumps for a wide variety of applications. Its pump designs have been accepted by both the international community and the U.S. market since their introduction in the mid-1990s.

Headquartered in Ohio, PeriFlo has annual revenues of approximately $3.5 million and an application engineering team with more than 30 years of peristaltic pumping experience. Peristaltic pump technology is currently the fastest growing technology in the positive displacement pump market, according to the company.

“The acquisition of PeriFlo has added an additional suite of products to Pulsafeeder’s existing product line, enabling our ability to leverage future incremental growth,” said Terry Atwater, president of IDEX Water & Wastewater Technologies. “We will continue to look for opportunities to expand our footprint both geographically and with new products for all businesses in the Water & Wastewater Group.”

Pulsafeeder, an IDEX Water & Wastewater Business, is a manufacturer of pumps and pumping technologies for a variety of markets.
