APG-Neuros successfully tests and delivers 13 NX300 blowers

In June 2010, members of the South Valley Jordan Basin, Utah, Project witnessed successful testing of 13 NX300 blowers at Neuros’ facility in South Korea. Representatives from the South Valley Project and the chief engineer from Bowen, Collins & Associates reported that the test results satisfied the project specification requirements.

“The equipment operated nearly flawlessly and exceeded all performance requirements and expectations,” said Bob Mayers, P.E, chief engineer at Bowen, Collins & Associates. “The Neuros operation was well organized and professional. The components and assembly processes were of high quality and impressive. I am confident that we made the best blower equipment selection for the Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility project, and would not hesitate to use and/or recommend APG-Neuros blowers for other projects.”

The 13 APG-Neuros blowers, including the complete aeration system and aeration system control for the South Valley Project, were shipped during the first week of August. They have been accepted at the jobsite located in Salt Lake County, Utah.

The Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility will comprise several structures, including an influent pump station, headworks building, process basins and buildings, disinfection buildings, maintenance building, dewatering building, electrical building and administration building. The total project contract is for over $91 million.

“We are very proud to be a part of the South Valley Project and are delighted that the blowers’ performance exceeded their requirements,” said president and CEO of APG-Neuros, Omar Hammoud. “We are looking forward to successful project completion and to completing more projects in the future with Bowen Collins & Associates.”
