John Bergen Joins Black & Veatch

Role is PM/CM lead for northwestern U.S.

With more than 30 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design and program and construction management (PM/CM), John Bergen has joined Black & Veatch’s global water business. He is based in the company’s Walnut Creek, Calif., office.

Bergen will lead Black & Veatch’s PM/CM practice in the northwestern United States and will assist with various national PM/CM efforts. His experience in civil-sanitary engineering includes program and construction management, facilities design, biddability and constructability reviews, value engineering, design-build and quality assurance/quality control. Bergen’s work in infrastructure design and PM/CM for all types of water and wastewater facilities in Northern California totals approximately $500 million in construction cost.
