In a marketplace of 22 million people, 37 million acres of arable land and breathtaking landscapes, Bio-Microbics participated with the U.S. Commercial Service/United States Embassy to attend the RAJA Constanta and the Romanian Water Assn.’s U.S. Water and Wastewater Industry Promotion Program at the Constanta Exhibition Center in Romania.
Bio-Microbics was one of 12 American companies with capabilities and technologies for the treatment of water and wastewater and exhibited with a technical seminar presentation. Bio-Microbics water, wastewater and storm water treatment products help treat the world’s water for municipal, industrial, marine, commercial and residential applications around the globe.
With the U.S. Commercial Service’s strategy for addressing Romania’s infrastructure needs, Bio-Microbics presented technologies that deal with the needs of the onsite water and wastewater treatment industries. With its mission to bring superior products to an emerging market, Bio-Microbics manufactures clean technologies for decentralized homes, communities and commercial properties. Bio-Microbics began exporting in 1996 at its inception and its patented fixed integrated FAST systems have been installed in more than 70 countries.
"We would like to help accelerate the pace of progress for Romania’s water and wastewater treatment infrastructure," said Keith Kirkham, commercial attaché with the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest. "This event will introduce American solutions to the market, but also provide a platform for the exchange of expertise between Romanian and American professionals.
"We are very grateful for the partnership of RAJA Constanta and the Romanian Water Assn. These two groups share our view that water is a key sector vital to Romania’s economic development."
