New Jersey American Water Appoints New Vice President of Human Resources

Trudy Spence-Parker to lead efforts on all human resources functions

New Jersey American Water has named Trudy Spence-Parker vice president of human resources. Spence-Parker will join the company after having served two years as vice president of human resources at American Water Enterprises, the non-regulated arm of New Jersey American Water's parent company, American Water.

"Trudy Spence-Parker has proven herself to be a very valuable asset to American Water Enterprises and I am pleased that she has chosen to make a transition to New Jersey American Water," said John Bigelow, president of New Jersey American Water. "Trudy's experience and counsel will strengthen our management team and our organization. We look forward to working with her and accomplishing much."

As vice president of human resources, Spence-Parker will be responsible for ensuring that human resources strategies are aligned with, and significantly contribute to, New Jersey American Water's business strategies. She will also lead efforts on all human resources functions, labor relations and employee and organizational development.

Prior to working for American Water Enterprises, she served as chief human resources officer for Delaware River and Bay Authority. Previously, she held leadership positions in AT&T, Invensys Energy Systems and her own recruitment agency.
