Coming Together for Clean Water conference to focus on healthy watersheds and sustainable communities

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lisa P. Jackson delivered remarks at EPA’s Coming Together for Clean Water conference happening April 15 in Washington, D.C. The one-day conference focuses on better protecting and improving the health of America’s waters. Approximately 125 water leaders and experts from across the country will have a discussion on our nation’s clean water challenges and possible future actions to address them. Academic leaders, policymakers, non-governmental organizations, government officials, tribal leaders, agricultural stakeholders, community experts and others will participate in this discussion.

Jackson has made protecting America’s waters one of the seven key priorities of her tenure at EPA.
