WQA Elects Bob Hague New Association President

New leader points to upcoming industry challenges and opportunities

The Water Quality Assn. (WQA) elected Robert A. Hague, CWS-VI, Groveport, Ohio, as association president this month.

The election took place at WQA Aquatech USA 2010 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., on March 11. Hague is president of Hague Quality Water International. He served as vice president on the WQA Board of Governors and chairman of the Manufacturer Section. He is also a member of the Nominating Committee, and Ultra Low Brine Discharge and Salinity task forces.

“We are facing great challenges, but that also means great opportunity,” Hague said. “These are tough economic times, which makes it more important than ever for everyone in the industry to have a strong voice and a powerful advocate through WQA.”
