Aclara Partners With Clevest Solutions, Inc., to Provide Smart Meter Deployment Solution

Clevest software to extend capabilities of Aclara’s meter asset management solution

Aclara announced its partnership with Clevest Solutions, Inc., to enhance its AMI (advance metering infrastructure) device management application with a solution for streamlining AMI deployments. Aclara provides Intelligent Infrastructure technologies for electric, gas and water utilities and is part of the Utility Solutions Group of ESCO Technologies, Inc.

The Clevest software will extend the capabilities of Aclara’s meter asset management solution to help utility companies automate, track and validate every aspect of an AMI deployment, according to Aclara.

“Our relationship with Clevest will provide our customers with complete control over AMI deployments, whether the field work is performed by utility personnel or an installation contractor,” said Alvin Jackson, vice president, services, of Aclara Software, Inc. “This partnership reinforces our commitment to offer the industry’s most complete solution for managing meter assets.”

Aclara’s device management solution provides tracking of utility smart grid devices through their entire life cycles, offering features such as inventory tracking, device configuration management and device testing (including support for periodic testing and maintenance).
