Malcolm Fabiyi, PhD, leader in innovative solutions for wastewater treatment, joins the company as chief technology officer

Environmental Operating Solutions, Inc. (EOS) recently announced that Malcolm Fabiyi, PhD, joined the company as its chief technology officer. Fabiyi was previously group leader in industrial gas producer and distributor Praxair’s global Water & Wastewater Research & Development group. There, he focused on developing wastewater applications to support growth in Praxair’s pure oxygen and CO2 business. Fabiyi was instrumental in developing and commercializing technologies related to the optimization of aeration and mixing systems, nutrient removal processes, sludge minimization and digester performance at municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities.

He has presented widely at regional, national and international conferences in the water and wastewater area and has had extensive global environmental consulting experience serving clients across North America, South America, the Middle East and Africa. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the IWA Advanced Oxidation Processes Group.

“Dr. Fabiyi will allow us to expand our technical leadership position in the optimization of nutrient removal processes via the application of supplemental carbon,” said Eric Stoermer, president and CEO. “As we build on our portfolio of solutions and technology options, Malcolm's experience in technology development, assessment and commercialization will assist EOS in continuing to deliver optimal solutions and value added technical services to our clients. He also provides a valuable global perspective that will assist EOS as our solutions continue to be sought after and deployed in more regions around the world."
