MWH Soft President Joins AAWRE Board of Trustees

Dr. Paul Boulos begins term Oct. 1

MWH Soft announced that its president and chief operating officer, Dr. Paul F. Boulos, Hon. D.WRE, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE) of the American Society of Civil Engineers. His term will begin Oct. 1.

A renowned international authority in water resources engineering, Boulos is acclaimed for his practical and scientific expertise and his extensive experience in both academe and the corporate world. He has co-authored nine authoritative books and more than 100 technical articles on water and wastewater engineering. He is the recipient of numerous industry honors, including awards for excellence in scholarship from national and international scientific and engineering societies and notable accolades from government and research organizations and nongovernmental organizations.

Boulos serves on the Board of Directors of MWH Soft, MWH Global and MWH Intl. as well as AMIDEAST and the Dean’s International Council of the Harris School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago. He chairs the Board of International Advisors and is an Ex-Officio Trustee of the Lebanese American University in Beirut. He also served on the External Advisory Board of the Civil and Environmental Engineering School of the American University of Beirut. He has been a member of advisory and executive committees for many organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Science Advisory Board and the National Academy of Sciences/National Research Council.
