Grant Newhouse joins KMS municipal and industrial groups

Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. (KMS) has hired Grant William Newhouse as regional sales manager for the western U.S. In addition to providing strong support to existing customers, Newhouse will be responsible for growing the business and increasing market share in a high-growth region of the country.

According to Alden Whitney, sales director, water and wastewater for KMS, “KMS is excited to have Grant Newhouse join our company. His knowledge of the water reuse and recycling business, coupled with his extensive industrial equipment sales, installation and customer service experience in the region will enable him to provide our customers with the highest level of service.”

Newhouse joins KMS with more than 25 years of experience in sales, installation and servicing of water, industrial and chemical equipment. Before joining KMS he was assistant vice president, water reuse and recycle for General Electric in Antioch, Calif., where he was responsible for GE’s water reuse and recycling efforts in the western U.S. He led the team that designed and sold GE’s first North American total water reuse/waste-to-energy project. He also served as GE’s district manager, leading a team of sales representatives responsible for maintaining current chemical and equipment business and delivering target growth.

Newhouse has a B.S. in both business management and general science with an emphasis in chemistry from Oregon State University, and has held a license in wastewater treatment. He is based in Antioch and will be responsible for a large region that includes western Texas north to Canada, as well as Hawaii and America Samoa.
