Harry Deng Named General Manager of Pump Solutions Group China

Effective Aug. 10, Harry Deng began his tenure as general manager of Pump Solutions Group/Dover Fluid Management (PSG/DFM) China.

Deng joins PSG/DFM China after serving as plant manager for the past seven years at Metso Automation of Shanghai, China, an internationally known Finnish valve manufacturer. Deng also brings extensive experience in sourcing and supply-chain management after serving for a number of years in that capacity at the Black & Decker facility in Suzhou, China.

Before beginning a professional career in which he has traveled extensively and led many pioneering and startup efforts for multinational firms throughout China, Deng earned a Bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University and a Master’s degree/Executive MBA from the China Europe Intl. Business School.

With this new position, Deng brings a flexible management style and a strong belief in details, traits that PSG is sure will lead to a seamless transition as he becomes acclimated to the operations at PSG/DFM China. Deng is a native Mandarin speaker who also has an excellent command of English, two more benefits that he will bring to the job.
