AWWA Announces Stimulus Package II Webcast

Aug. 26 webcast will focus on funding still available

On Wednesday, Aug. 26, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) will host the Stimulus Package II webcast. This webcast will focus on the stimulus funds still available, projects already funded and how the government intends to distribute funds nationwide. Attendees will learn how their city, state or utility may take advantage of this opportunity to improve their water infrastructure.

City planners, utility management, city, state, or utility financial management and mayors are encouraged to attend this highlight-focused and informational webcast.

Webcast presenters include:
• David F. Waldo, chief, Public Water Supply Section, Bureau of Water, Kansas Dept of Health & Environment;
• Peter E. Shanaghan, team leader, Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, Team Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water United States, Environmental Protection Agency; and
