Experts Headline WQA Aquatech USA State of the Industry Session

The WQA Aquatech USA 2009 State of the Industry session, held Wednesday, March 18, featured an industry update from WQA Executive Director Peter J. Censky, and insightful industry commentary from Debra Coy, a leading industry analyst, and Steve Maxwell, a top industry deal maker.

Censky discussed important trends and rising concerns in the industry such as the recession, concern about water usage, environmental concerns, regulatory challenges and emerging technologies.

“Game-changing technologies are starting to pop up,” Censky said.

Coy and Maxwell discussed how stimulus funding could impact the industry. They also noted the historical strength of water utilities during recessions.
