Chester Engineers names Vice President, Engineering and Technical Services

Michael B. Ryder, P.E., has more than 20 years of engineering and management experience

Robert O. Agbede, president and CEO of Chester Engineers, recently announced the appointment of Michael B. Ryder, P.E., as vice president, engineering and technical services.

Ryder joins Chester from Veolia Water North America—Central, LLC. There he directed design/build, design/build/operate projects, as well as other capital projects at Veolia’s operation, maintenance and management project sites.

In more than 20 years of engineering and management work, Ryder has held positions of increasing responsibility related to the implementation of municipal and industrial water/wastewater design/build projects.

A civil engineering graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, Ryder is past president of the Western Pennsylvania Water Pollution Control Association and a member of the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association and the Water Environment Association of Ontario.
