Facility to help Flowserve Limitorque customers reduce costs, extend equipment life

Flowserve Corp., has announced the opening of its newest Quick Response Center (QRC) located in Bangalore, India.

The QRC is part of Flowserve's growing network of aftermarket service centers around the world. Located at Flowserve’s existing Bangalore facility, the 4,000-sq-ft QRC will manufacture and service Flowserve Limitorque actuators for the petrochemical and power industry in India. Flowserve has maintained a local presence in the country since 1997.

"This new QRC ties directly into our globalization strategy. Our goal is to provide local manufacturing and service capabilities in regions with significant growth potential," said Tom Pajonas, president, Flowserve Flow Control Division. "Flowserve QRCs help our customers around the world reduce lifecycle costs, extend equipment life and maximize reliability."

Recently, the Bangalore QRC was approved as an authorized Factory Mutual (FM) facility. This approval means that Bangalore may assemble and test the MX actuator when supplied with an FM explosion-proof label.

Flowserve QRCs are maintenance, repair and manufacturing facilities strategically located throughout the world designed to provide customers with local support to help improve equipment reliability and reduce lifecycle costs. The QRCs are staffed with experienced personnel to offer responsive service and extensive product knowledge to keep customers’ equipment operating at peak performance.
