MWH has received a pair of contracts to upgrade the wastewater treatment facilities serving the city of Tallahassee, Fla.
The facilities to be upgraded—the Thomas P. Smith Wastewater Reclamation Facility and the Lake Bradford Road Wastewater Treatment Facility—serve more than 200,000 of Lean County’s 275,000 residents.
MWH will provide environmental consulting, engineering, and construction services on a construction management at-risk basis under the contracts, which have a combined value of about $220 million. MWH said that the work will begin in February 2009.
