Aquatech Receives Second Project Award in Madagascar

Company will design, manufacture and supply a SprayFilm Evaporator for the Ambatovy Project

Aquatech Intl. Corp. has recently received an order from SNC-Lavalin, Inc., Toronto, as agent for the Ambatovy Minerals SA and Dynatec Madagascar SA nickel-cobalt mining and processing project in Madagascar.

Aquatech will design, manufacture and supply a SprayFilm Evaporator that will concentrate nickel sulphate bearing process stream. This industrial concentrator is expected to be delivered to the Ambatovy Project in late 2009.

In 2007, SNC-Lavalin, Inc. awarded Aquatech a contract for the design, manufacture and supply of a 12,380-gal-per-minute (gpm) clarifier, a 3080-gpm ion exchange demineralization system and 3080-gpm iron removal filters for the Ambatovy Project. This equipment is in the final phase of shipment.
