Huynh joins Toray as the new senior applications engineer

Huynh has been in the membrane industry for more than 8 years with extensive knowledge in reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and microfiltration membrane applications. He has experience in membrane process separations, where valuables are being recovered as products. His expertise includes membrane applications in the food and dairy industries as well as industrial wastewater treatment. In addition, he has done design work for various process membrane applications where unique customized solutions are necessary.

Huynh has also done extensive membrane development work to test membrane element limitations and improve product performance under atypical conditions. He was involved in various membrane system troubleshooting efforts as well as failure mode analysis in his previous role.

Before joining Toray, Huynh was part of Desal/Osmonics, which is now part of GE Water & Process Technologies, as a process lead engineer. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
