Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. (KMS) has announced the hiring of Peter Waldron as business manager for reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) products and of Carlos Rodrigues as new technical sales manager for South America for the KMS division of Koch Tecnologia Quimica, Ltda.

Waldron will be responsible for introducing newly developed products and for continuing the growth of KMS’ market share for membrane desalination equipment used across all of the markets and applications served by KMS.

Waldron will be instrumental in developing strategic partnering arrangements for high-volume businesses and will provide direction to KMS’ global sales team. In addition, he will be responsible for implementing the company’s current plan to grow the NF and RO business for MegaMagnum elements and also for developing plans to continue increasing the market share for the KMS line of value-added products.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Peter Waldron to Koch Membrane Systems,” said John J. Morrison, senior vice president of sales and marketing at KMS. “He brings to KMS more than 20 years of extensive business planning and sales management experience, specific to the water and wastewater treatment industry. I am confident in Peter’s ability to direct the growth of our RO and NF product lines given his knowledge of this market and his many associations within the industry.”

Rodrigues will be based in the Sao Paulo, Brazil office. He has been working as a technical consultant to KMS for the past several years and is thoroughly familiar with KMS products and capabilities.

“Rodrigues has been a valuable asset to Koch Membrane Systems as a consultant, and will continue to be a valued resource as he takes on this important new role. His vast knowledge of membrane applications, coupled with his technical engineering expertise, is a significant advantage for the KMS team,” said Sergio Ribeiro, regional manager for South America.
