WateReuse Association Names New Executive Director
Joshua M. Dickinson, P.E. was promoted to deputy executive director of the WateReuse Association effective March 1. In his new role, Dickinson is responsible for operational and staff management. He continues to serve as director of research programs for the WateReuse Foundation. The foundation is currently recruiting a program manager to assist in the day-to-day management of the research program.
Dickinson’s new position was approved by the board in 2007 and is part of the Business Plan. Executive Director Wade Miller made the decision to promote from within the association.
“Josh’s hard work, diligence, and leadership within WateReuse made him the ideal candidate for this position,” Miller said. “In his new role, Josh will be an integral part of helping WateReuse achieve its vision to be the leading voice for reclamation, recycling, reuse, and desalination in the development and utilization of new sources of high quality water.”
Dickinson joined WateReuse in August 2005 as director of technical services for the association and director of research programs for the foundation. Prior to coming to WateReuse, he worked as a senior environmental engineer at PCCI, Inc., Marine and Environmental Engineering.
Dickinson is a registered professional engineer in Virginia, Maryland and California. He has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from John Hopkins University. He is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Maryland.
