Hydrotech Disc and Drum Filters to be Available in North America

USFilter announced its plan to offer disc and drum filters to the North American market. The products, tested by Hyrotech AB of Sweden at more than 2,500 worldwide installations, are used in effluent polishing and product recovery in industries ranging from food processing to pulp and paper.

With their modular and changeable filter elements with pore sizes ranging between 5 and 1000 µm, and the ability to add or remove filter discs, the units offer flexibility and expansion. Available in a variety of standard sizes, the units are especially suited when a compact filter with fine filtration and a large filter area are required.
