Robbins & Myers Appoints Vice President, Business Development

DAYTON, Ohio -- Robbins & Myers, Inc. announced that Milton M. Hernandez is appointed vice president, Business Development for the company -- an international manufacturer and marketer of fluid management products and systems serving the process industries. In this newly created position, Hernandez will be responsible for administration of the company's growth, focusing on the business development process, acquisitions, strategic planning and e-business. He will also function as operations manager for the UGE joint venture. "We view this as a pivotal part of the process to fulfill our stated strategy of growth. Mr. Hernandez brings a depth of experience and business leadership that will enhance our growth related activities," said Gerald L. Connelly, president and CEO. Hernandez joins Robbins & Myers after having recently served as managing director-Argentina and Bolivia of Mobil Exploration and Producing Company, a unit of Mobil Oil Corporation. Prior to that, he was vice president, Business Development-Latin America, Spain and Portugal for Mobil.
