The first World Congress on Ozone and Ultraviolet Technologies which just ended in Los Angeles, California featured 30 mini-symposia on water, wastewater, air and industrial process research and application on ozone, ultraviolet and advanced oxidation technologies.
“Synergies and Benefits” was an appropriate theme for this World Congress co-organized by the International Ozone Association and International Ultraviolet Association.
The 830 individuals from 32 countries agreed that the time was right for putting ozone, UV and advanced oxidation technologies on the stage together. Global interest and application of these technologies is at an all time high as evidenced by the 280 technical papers delivered during nine (9) con-current technical sessions each day.
The World Congress also featured a daily exhibition of technical products and services from 40 international businesses focused on these technologies.
You can find the World Congress Final Program including details on the technical program and papers, exhibitors and sponsors at www.ioa-iuva-wchollywood.org. World Congress proceedings on CD ROM are available to those who could not attend through the IOA and IUVA.
