Aquatech Amsterdam 2008 Exhibition for Water Solutions

Aug. 7, 2007

Aquatech Amsterdam is to be held from September 30 to October 3, 2008. The 22nd edition of the trade exhibition on process, drinking and wastewater at the Amsterdam RAI brings together international leaders in the water industry.

Supported by seminars and conferences sponsored by the International Water Association (IWA), the four day event provides a platform for doing business, knowledge transfer and network development.

Attracting nearly 900 exhibitors from 50 countries in 2006, the international world of water use and management will take over once again the almost 23,000 square meters of the Europa complex of Amsterdam RAI.

A targeted multimedia promotion campaign is already in place to encourage visitors from special niche segments to attend the show. The aim is to increase penetration in the industrial and commercial sectors of the water industry: paper & pulp, food processing (brewery, dairy sectors), chemical & petrochemical, and pharmaceutical.

Aquatech has been established for over 40 years, with equivalent exhibitions in the USA and Asia winning international acclaim. The Amsterdam exhibition will cover the following segments in the water industry: transport and storage, water treatment, point of use, process control technology and process automation, and country pavilions.

The trade exhibition is supported by a series of seminars and conferences organized by IWA on a variety of topics. These topics include mechanical and chemical handling, storage, control and monitoring and the management of operations, assets and investments will complete the opportunities for knowledge exchange, especially in the commercial and industrial context.
