H2O Innovation Awarded CAN$ 1.7M Contract for Florida City

H2O Innovation (2000) Inc. has announced the signature of a contract secured by its US subsidiary Membrane Systems Inc. (“MSI”), for the supply of a drinking water treatment plant for the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (“FKAA”). Total value of this contract is CAN$ 1,664,600 (US$ 1,569,814.96) and adds to the sales backlog of H2O consequently standing at CAN$ 11.8M (US$ 11.1M).

The general contractor Wharton-Smith Inc. has chosen the MSI membrane technology design for treating the groundwater taken from a well field that has high levels of total dissolved solids, chlorides and hardness. MSI will design and furnish the equipment for the treatment system which will consist of four low pressure reverse osmosis skids, each one designed to produce 1,042 gpm. The system will incorporate inter-stage Hydraulic Turbo Charger for flux balancing and energy consumption optimization.

MSI has been released to start work on the project immediately, the project schedule calls for substantial completion in 660 days delivering water to the customers.
