Water Conserv II Recives David W. York Award

Water Conserv II, the largest water reclamation project of its kind in the world, was awarded the Florida Water Environment Association's David W. York Award for excellence in beneficial use of reclaimed water.

Woodard & Curran has performed contract operations and maintenance of the facility that combines agriculture irrigation and rapid infiltration basins since 1996.

Located in Winter Garden, Fla., Water Conserv II is jointly owned by the City of Orlando and Orange County. The facility previously won the award in 1994 and 2001.

Woodard & Curran is a 500-person, integrated engineering, science, and operations company. Privately held and steadily growing, the firm serves public and private clients locally and nationwide.
