March 15, 2007

The NWRI Short Course on Membrane Bioreactors (MBRs) is one in a series of specialized educational courses designed to promote an understanding of the principles and applications of emerging technologies in the water community. The next MBR Short Course will be held at the Doubletree Castle Hotel in Orlando, Fla., on April 3-4, 2007.

Opening remarks will be provided by David W. York, Ph.D., P.E., of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and Anthony Andrade of the Southwest Florida Water Management District. A design assignment is also included.

NWRI developed the 2-day short course on MBRs in partnership with Cranfield University, MWH, and Trussell Technologies to provide engineers, regulators, and water agency personnel with first-hand knowledge on the background, principles, products, and other critical factors surrounding the design and operation of MBRs for wastewater treatment and water reclamation.

The last day to register for the NWRI Short Course on MBRs is Thursday, March 29, 2007. Space is limited to 40 participants, and only a handful of slots remain. To download the brochure or to register, please visit NWRI's website at www.nwri-usa.org/mbrshortcourse.
